Apple CIDER Macintosh User Group

The Apple Computer Information and Data Exchange of Rochester, is one of the oldest and largest Apple User Group. Our main purpose is educational; we demonstrate, inform, and instruct in the use of Apple computing technology. Since 1978, Apple CIDER has had a dedicated staff of volunteers who maintain the organization and help run meetings. Whether you’ve been using a Mac for years or just bought your first MacBook or iPhone, or iPad just last week, come and expand the horizons of your Apple world. Meetings are held September to June on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, at East High School, 1801 East Main Street, between Culver and Ohio Streets. Q&A meetings are held the the following Saturday.  Special meetings are held at different locations during the summer.  Click here to subscribe to our calendar.

Everything Announced at the Apple Event in Just 7 Minutes – MacRumors

Apple held its second fall event, which focused on the MacBook Pro and the AirPods. Apple introduced new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with a total design overhaul featuring MagSafe, no Touch Bar, HDMI port and SD card slot, and a mini-LED display that features a notch. Apple also debuted new super powerful M1 Pro and ‌M1‌ Max chips, which join the existing ‌M1‌ chip.

Everything Announced at Apple Event – MacRumors

Apple today held its annual iPhone-centric event, introducing the iPhone 13 mini, ‌iPhone 13‌, iPhone 13 Pro, and ‌iPhone 13 Pro‌ Max. We also got a look at the new Apple Watch Series 7 and were surprised with the new ninth-generation low-cost iPad and the iPad mini 6.
