iOS 8 was finally revealed today in San Francisco and while iOS 7 represented a huge visual overhaul of Apple’s mobile OS, its newest iteration is stuffed fuller than a Thanksgiving turkey, boasting new features that make it quicker, more productive and more integrated than ever before.

As predicted by some Apple-watchers, the company updated its line of lightweight notebooks on Tuesday, bringing updated versions of Intel’s Core i5 and i7 processors to the MacBook Air. Even more significantly, the company’s dropped the price of the MacBook Air models by $100 each, making the slim portables even more affordable than ever.

Some Apple events—such as the one in September where company introduced its new iPhone 5s and 5c—are focused: They spend a lot of time talking about just a couple of new products.
